| CITU supports Kalakote Coal mine workers | | |
JAMMU OCT-2-While condemning the management apathy towards the workers of Kalakote Coal Mines. The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has fully endorsed the agitation and called upon its units to prepare for a serious action to render full support to the workers if the struggle is further prolonged.
At a meeting General Secretary K K Bakshi has said that coal miners are on a strike for the last two days with management doing little to accept their demands. He warned the management that if any loss to human life is caused due to unhygienic conditions, the entire responsibility should be of the management. Supporting the workers demands, CITU demanded immediate settlement of these, which are quite genuine, a handout of the CITU said today.
