| Doctors strike anti-people: NSF | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 20- Terming the junior doctors strike as anti people the National Secular Forum (NSF) & JURSEA President Vikas Sharma has come down heavily on the junior doctors for their reported threat to close down emergency medical services in the state. In a statement Vikas said that the junior doctors have become too self centered and adamant with regard to their demands without realizing that they are actually playing with the lives of the suffering patients. It has now been 16 days since the junior doctors have not reported on duty and this has severely affected the patient care system in the State. He called upon the junior doctors to defer their strike till Darbar move so that the Government, a promised earlier, can fulfill their demands. “In this confrontation between the Government and the doctors it is the general public, especially the poor people of far flung areas who are the worst sufferers’ Vikas said and called upon the Government to enter into a meaningful dialogue with the doctors and give some concrete assurance to them. He further appealed to the Government not to take any harsh measures against the doctors as this would further aggravate the matter.
