BJP asks coalition to resolve health crisis in state
10/20/2009 11:46:54 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu Oct 20
BJP State President Ashok Khajuria has urged upon the NC-Congress coalition government to immediately concede the genuine demands of the agitating doctors so that the proper health services are resumed in government hospitals in the state.
In his press statement state president BJP Khajuria stated even after 17 days of continuous strike by doctors, the government has failed to break the impasse which speaks how serious it is towards providing medical facilities to the poor and needy people of the state.
Ashok Khajuria, also said that he will personally take up the matter with the State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and seek his intervention to resole the present situation. He said it is not only the doctors but thousands of employees of SRTC, Home Guards and unemployed youth, who are on strike for months together but no one cares. ‘The concerned ministers are only giving lip service instead of understanding the gravity of the situation and the problems being faced by the masses. It seems that there exists no government,’ he alleged.
