| Bid to blow up house in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 21 Some unidentified persons made an abortive bid to blow a house by hurling a hand grenade towards a house in south Kashmir, official sources said here today. No damage of life or injury was reported in this incident, they added. Police said that a grenade was hurled from outside towards the house of one Manzoor Ahmad Wani, a teacher, at Zainpora in Shopian district of south Kashmir when his family members were inside. However, the grenade did not explode and the family members were taken out of the house safely. The grenade was later defused without causing any damage, the sources said, adding a case had been registered by the police and investigation was on.
