JAMMU, Oct 21: Belongs to Higher Secondary School, Muthi, Rohit today clinched the 100 meters gold to emerge as the fastest athlete in under-19 age group in the two-day first phase inter-school athletics meet for boys held at MA Stadium under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
Second place went to Sunil Sharma of HSS Domana while Mitten Singh of MHAC Nagbani remained third.
The 200 meters under-14 gold went to Raju Barat of GHSS Nowabad. Second place in this event was secured by Suraj Mottan of GHS Devipur while Vipin Kumar finished third.
The winners of different age groups of boys section were also given away medals and certificates by the officials of the DYSS.
