Srinagar, Oct 21- Minister for Rural Development, Panchayats, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar has ordered immediate suspension of Block Development Officer, Shangus.
The officer was suspended following recommendations of an inquiry committee constituted by the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag following irregularities in the preparation of Indira Awas Yojana beneficiaries list .
Relevantly a large number of the area had made complaints regarding exclusion of genuine beneficiaries.
