| Soz meets PM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Oct 21: The J&K Congress President Saifuddin Soz today met the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh at his residence and discussed the political situation obtaining in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Acknowledging the decision of the Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi to inaugurate the Qazigund-Baramulla Railway Line at Wanpooh (Anantnag) on October 28, the PCC (I) Chief Prof Soz told the PM that it was going to be a historic event as inauguration of this link will connect the entire length of the Valley.
He further requested the Prime Minister that the Udhampur-Qazigund sector should now be completed through a concerted effort and urged the prime minister that the survey for linking Kupwara Poonch/Rajouri and Doda Districts needs to be completed early.
The Prime Minister reiterated his interest in the development of J&K State and said that everything that is possible to do for J&K State will be done.
