JAMMU, OCT 21: The state government today announced that it has enhanced the ex-gratia cash relief being given to 1947 refugees of the Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
According to Government Order No. Rev/Rehab/132 of 2009 dated:19-10-2009, the sanction has been accorded to payment of Rs.30,000 per kanal instead of Rs. 5000 per kanal subject to a maximum of Rs. 1,50,000 per 5 kanals and above as ex-gratia cash compensation for land deficiency to displaced persons from Pakistan occupied Kashmir, 1947.
