| Pathania alleges injustice to Ramnagar | | | Early Times Report Ramnagar Oct 22 : R S Pathania, Advocate, who unsuccessfully contested from Ramnagar assembly as independent candidate has accused the coalition government for doing injustice and discrimination with hilly areas of Ramnagar assembly segment while approving the annual district plan for Udhampur in the recent District Development Board meeting. Addressing his supporters at Ramnagar, Majalta, Basantgarh, Majori & Gandh Top, he alleged the government for giving least attention/heed to the burning issues confronting the people of Ramnagar and the allocated funds and approved projects for Ramnagar area far less as compared to those in other assembly segments. ‘No concern has been shown for the development and beautification of Ramnagar town while the action plan has been delineated for time-bound and technically and qualitatively sound completion of the ambitious Roun-Ramnagar road, he said adding that the DDB has sidelined demand of a Govt Degree College and ITI College at Majalta. He also mentioned that no action plan for dealing with shortage of staff and infrastructure in various educaton and health sector have been mentioned. Pathania said that CM should have ordered constitution of a loss-assessment teams with a view to apprising the government of the true situation of drought like situation in the wnt of rains in the Ramnagar and its adjoining areas. Among those who spoke included Jagmohan, Mulkh Raj, A.R. Wani, Sansar Chand, Dhani Ram, Om Parkash, Krishan Lal, Tilak Raj, Shiv Charan, Mangat Ram, Shokat Ali and others.
