| Several BJP, Cong, NC leaders join BSP | | |

The state unit of the BSP received a shot in arm with the joining of a number of senior leaders from BJP, Congress and National Conference.
Kulbushan Kumar, BJP state working committee member and former chairman of Municipal Committee Nagri Parol who resigned from the post of vice President BJP District Kathua joined the BSP at a function held at Nagri .
Another Municipal Committee Councilsor Smt Devi Rani of Nagri Parol with several other prominent workers after resigning from the BJP also joined the party. They included Bhiwami Singh, Bushan Paul, Hans Raj, Uttam Chand, Prakash Chand ,Prajapat and Dev Raj Punch..
Several congress leaders including Jagat Ram, Partap Chand, Thoru Ram and Rattaan Singh also joined the party. Maulvi Ali Ahmed, Noor Ali, Gulab Hussain, Iman Hussain and Wali Mohammed of National Conference also joined BSP.
