SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 22 – The Director General, Border Roads Organization, Lt. Gen. M. C. Badhani, called on the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening.
Lt. Gen. Badhani briefed the Governor about various road projects being executed by the Border Roads Organization in the State of Jammu and Kashmir to provide connectivity, particularly in the remote and border areas.
The Governor appreciated the valuable work being done by the Border Roads Organization and stressed the need for time-bound completion of road/bridge projects in the State, adding that road connectivity is imperative for overall progress and development of the people of the State, in view of the difficult terrain and geographical location.
