| SS appeals CM, look into genuine demands of SRTC employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 22: Sangram Sena (SS) president Ram Rattan Raina has appealed to the chief minister, Omar Abdullah that some amicable solutions find out with the striking employees of SRTC at are earliest. While, addressing the meeting of party workers along with Amrik Singh, president SRTC employees association, he said, due to strike SRTC losses crore of rupees daily. He said private bus owners are repairing the harvest by charging higher rates than prescribed by the government. He said, there is some conspiracy between private transporters and higher ups in the administration, which did not allow that some settlement he reached. He said demands of the SRTC employees is genuine and will be better for the authorities to settle it without further loosing any time. He also asked the transport minister that the matter be solve at once. He further appealed that the workers be allowed to work in the workshops and ply the buses on various routes in the interest of public so that the corporation is not put in losses.
