JAMMU, OCTOBER 23 - To carry out the work of replacement of worn out clamps and droppers and erection of 132 KV CTs in 132 KV transformer bay at Grid Station Hiranagar, besides carrying out preventive maintenance of 132/66 KV Grid Station Samba, the power supply to Samba town, IGC Samba, Industrial area Bari-Brahmana-II, Vijaypur, Hiranagar, part of Ramgarh, part of Kathua district, Gagwal, Rajpura, Sherpur and Nichla shall remain affected on October 25,2009 from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The PHE, MES installations and other essential loads shall also remain affected during the shut down.
According to Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
