Early Times Report
Jammu Oct 23
State unit of BJP has condemned suggestion made by PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Beig for asking the Govt of India to open links through Leh towards Centre Asia and China and its endorsement as a step towards Self-Rule.
State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora (Adv.) in his statement here today said everyone is aware that relation with China are stained especially when China has started new method of issuing VISA to residents of Jammu and Kashmir on separate paper and projecting Kashmir as separate country. These type of statements will further deteriorate the situation and will also put a question mark over the credibility of these leaders, he said.
“We fail to understand weather it is "self-rule" or "no rule" or a stand which will tarnish and destroy the sovereignty of the state and the country. PDP leaders do not allow any occasion to pass, without making comment against the interest of the country and that of the state, he added. Arora said the situation is fragile in present scenario and all major countries are shifting their strategic are concentrating their muscle power towards Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir. In such like circumstances we should be more responsible and conscious while making statements which affects the external affairs of the country. Arora suggested Centre government to assert its power and stop such so-called local leaders from making attempts which are against the national interest.
He also has cautioned the centre over the London visit of Moulvi Umar Farooq with respect to Kashmir problem. ‘We should not allow such type of person to exploit the situation at International level rather government should planned to send representatives who can really plead the cause of Jammu and Kashmir in right prospective and can place before the word community about the aspects of fundamentalism, Kashmir Hindu migration, non-settlement of refugees of PoK and West Pakistan etc. Arora further said.
