Jammu, Oct 23: The all Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh clerical staff association have decided to hold a day long stage wide dharna at all district headquarters in the state on October 27,2009.
As per press release members have thrust upon the state govt. to issue orders regarding removal of pay anomalies of 5th pay commission in respect of clerical cadre i.e. Junior Assistants, Senior Assistants, Head Assistants, Junior Statistical Assistants, Statistical Assistants, Steno-typist and Junior Stenographers by granting pay scales of 4000-6000, 4500-7000 and 5500-9000 notionally from 1.1.1996 and monetarily from 19.02.2003 as has already been principally agreed vide agreement dated 10-03-2008.
While addressing the meeting representatives of the association expressed deep concern over the sidetrack and back out by the government who has miserable failed implement its agreement dated 10-03-2008 after lapse of more than one year and critised the state government for its and cadre attitude and step motherly treatment. The meeting was attended by Anil Mehta, Ravi Singh Bhau, Sikhbir Singh, Ravi Kumar, Brijesh Mohta, Kuldeep Razdan, Kuldeep Kotwal, Birbal Sharma, Kirpal Singh, M P Singh, Jaideep Singh, Hamid Bhasin, J R Sagar, Bashir Malik, Ravi Razdan.
