| JU’s delegate participates in 34th convocation in Nepal | | |

Jammu, Oct 23: Dr. Gurcharan Singh of Jammu University participated in the “Summit of World Youth Religious Leaders of Disarmament for Shared Security, Religions for Peace” organized by the Religions and Peace Academy, Nepal in last July, Kathmandu, Nepal. This Summit was inaugurated by Rt. President of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav. Rov. Kyeichi Sugino, Assistant General Secretary of the World Conference for Religions for Peace, WCRP Headquarter, New Yark, USA and Indira Manandhar President of Religions and Peace Academy Nepal (RPAN) Cordially invited the Participants etc.
Dr. Singh also participated in “National Conference on State Restructuring” organized by Collective Compaign for Peace (COCAP) on 14th and 15th August, 2009 in Kathmandu. The topics of the Conference were Based and Forms of the Federalism, Sharing the power of the state,, Judicial system, Distribution of Natural Resources and National Economy Model. Dr. Singh who spoke in the discussion and shared his thoughts and views in the conference. He also participated in the National Conference entitled “Role of Civil Society on Constitution Making” organized by Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP) and expressed his views as a participant int eh open discussion the Singh also participated in Get Together Programme organized by law students of Nepal Law Campus on 13th Sept.
