In the super league round, Mussa Club emerged as undisputed king after the side topped with 10 points earned out of three wins and a draw. The Club defeated Young Rovers 2-1, Hero Club 1-0 and Christian Stars 2-1 while held Param FC to a goalless draw in the four matches played in the super league. However, in today’s 15-minute remaining game of the disrupted match against Hero Club, Mussa Club played with extra caution concentrating mostly on defence to avoid a draw or defeat in their last league tie. On the other hand, Hero Club made all out efforts to make a break through into the opponent goal area but all in vain. The full of excitement 15-minute game was full enjoyed by the supports from both the teams, who kept on cheering on every move initiated from either side till the final whistle was brown by the centre referee. It is pertinent to mention here that the match between Mussa Club and Hero Club could not be completed after unruly crowd entered the field protesting over a referee decision. Today’s match was officiated by Harneel Singh, Sanjay, Vivian, Mohan Lal and Harbans Lal. Meanwhile, the last league match, deciding the second place, shall be played tomorrow between Young Rovers and Param FC at 4 pm. The match will be followed by the prize distribution function of the Junior Division and Sub-junior League Tournaments.
