| CPI (M) condole demise of adv. Salim Raja | | |

Jammu, Oct 24: Secretary regional committee of CPI (M) Sham Prasad Kesar has expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of young advocate, Mohd Salim Raja of Banihal. In his condolence message, he said his death is a great loss for the working people of Banihal in particular and to the whole old Doda district in general.
Advocate Salim Raja did his LLB degree from Jammu University in 1983-84. He had his practice in Banihal, Ramban and Batote Courts. He remained district president of Bar Association of Doda district. He was chairman of railway workers union affiliated with CITU. He remained in Jammu jail for about three months fighting for the cause of workers and peasants. He was also the chairman of Shah Asrar School Banihal. CPI (M) regional committee Jammu expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to god to grant peace to the departed soul.
