Residents of Christian colony being unnecessarily harassed: Madan Gopal
10/24/2009 10:37:19 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 24: The general secretary of youth Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Madan Gopal has urged upon the state government that the poor people from Christian colony to Sheedi Chowk are made scape goats to facilitate the busses of Delhi Public School to ply freely and benefit the rich who’s wards are studying Posh school in the area.
He said this is all injustice and needs to be condemned in strong words and added development is of course appreciable but not at the shattering of the routine life of the poor. He said poor people who come under the broom of sweeping should first be provided alternate places and houses so that they are not left to wilderness for no fault of their being poor and government should seriously consider the case of the poor residents before they are cleared from their hearths and homes.
Gopal further urged that the road leading to Prem Nagar Jogigate is in shambles for the last seven months and has created inconvenience to the public.
