One dead on firing practice

Akhnoor, Oct 24: One person died on spot and other received injuries when they were collecting fired cartridges from a place where army had been undergoing firing practice.
The incident occurred when one Kartar Chand son of Amar Chand resident of village Manna and Rakesh Kumar son of Madan Lal resident of Nathan was collecting fired cartridges in village Khodda.While they were engrossed with their work army 11 Sikh regiments started firing in which one Rakesh Kumar died on spot while as Kartar is fighting for life in GMC hospital.A case under section 304A and 323 RPC has been registered in this regard.
