| Soz felicitate artisans | | |

Jammu, Oct 25: The president Pradesh Congress Committee and MP Prof Saif-u-Din Soz felicitated national award winners in various crafts work at a function hold at Alamgari Bazar, Srinagar here today. The minister of medical education and sports RS Chib was also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Soz said, it is moral duty of the government to protect and promote art and crafts of Kashmir, which is a great treasure of Kashmir inherited from its ancestors. Chib also assured artisans that he would take personnal interest and will also highlight their problems with the government.
On the occasion exhibition of rare shawls, like Kami Shawls, Jamwars Sozni work, paper mache and woodwork was also arranged. Among others present were Ali Mohd Beigh, MLA, Peer Afaq, Abdul Gani Khan and Muzaffar Parray.
