| Traders call on Karra | | | Srinagar, October 03
A delegation of traders federation Kashmir called on Minister for Finance and Planning Mr. Tariq Hamid Karra here today.
The deputation headed by its President Mr. Mohammad Sadiq Bakal presented a charter of demands to the minister and discussed various issues confronting the traders associated with various sectors.
The Minister gave patient hearing and assured that their genuine grievances would be redressed.
Assuring the traders of every help from the government for promotion of trade and commerce in the valley, Minister sought similar cooperation from the traders in maintaining smooth and fair tax system in larger interest of public. He also called for adhering to Consumer Affairs Act.
Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Mr. Bashir Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Excise and Taxation Lakhanpur were also present. |
