| Governor expresses grief over loss of lives in Sonamarg road accident | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 26 – The Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, has expressed profound shock and grief over the death of 11 tourists and the driver of the ill-fated vehicle in a tragic road accident near Sonamarg on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway yesterday.
The Governor expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the young boy who has been injured in this tragic accident.
The Governor reiterated the responsibility of all concerned authorities to enforce the required measures to ensure against the recurring road accidents in the State, leading to the loss of precious lives.
