M N Roy Memorial Society announces an all India essay competition on the subject of ‘Obstacles to World Peace,’ a spokesperson said.
Spokesperson said that the essay will carry 90 marks and bibliography will carry 10 marks. It should be around 2500 words in English and the three top ranked essays will be presented prize money worth Rs 5000, 4000 and 3000 respectively. The statement said two consolation prizes worth Rs 1000 will be given to fourth position and sixteen worth Rs 500 each will be given to those who get next position.
The participants from Jammu and Kashmir can send their entries\ with details like name, father’s/husband’s name, age, profession, full address and telephone/mobile number, in bold letters inscribed on separate slip to Balraj Puri Director Institute of Jammu and Kashmir affairs Karan Nagar by November 30, the statement concluded.
