| Tarigami condoles demise of Dev | | | Early Times Report Srinagar Oct 26:- CPI(M) State Secretary and MLA Kulgam M.Y.Tarigami has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran politician and social reformer, comrade Resh Dev, who passed away at Jammu. A condolence meeting of CPI(M) State Unit was held here today to pay homage to the departed leader. Addressing the meeting on phone from Delhi, Tarigami described Resh Dev as one of the pioneers of socialist movement in J&K who always stood for upholding secular and democratic values that invited wide applause for him. He said that Resh Dev throughout his life worked for the welfare and upliftment of the neglected and downtrodden especially Kisans and working class people. Tarigami described the departed leader as a staunch believer of secularism, social advancement and democracy, who tirelessly worked for strengthening communal harmony, brotherhood and amity and always opposed the divisive and parochial tendencies.
