| EDB launches website | | |
Srinagar: Ellaquai Dehati Bank today launched its website to come a step further closer to its clients and the public at large. The website www.edb.org.in was formally launched at the Bank’s Head Office in Wazir Bagh Srinagar by A K Ralhan, Deputy General Manager (DGM) State Bank of India.
Ralhan said inaugurating the Bank’s website was a matter of pleasure for him since as a rural Bank sponsored by the State Bank of India, Ellaquai Dehati Bank had grown to a level where its contribution in the implementation of national policies regarding financial inclusion and upliftment of the lower and middle classes of the society had become evident to everyone. The Bank has a palpable presence in both the urban and rural sectors of the state and its role in credit dispensation/resource management is visible.
