| Amar colony residents met deputy mayor highlight problems | | | Early Times report Jammu, Oct 27: A deputation of Amar Colony residents of camp road, Talab Tilloo led by colonies welfare committee president, KumarJee Raina met deputy mayor Dharamveer Singh Jamwal and apprised him about the problems being faced by the colony residents. While projecting the genuine demands Raina said, lanes and by-lanes of the colony along with Amar Colony extension are badly in need of immediate repair etc. He also requested for installation of electric poles with lights at left over places, especially at crossing of lanes by lanes. Organizing secretary of the committee, Chand Narayan Bhan who along with other members toured various parts of the colony with Dy. Mayor apprised him about the prevailing problems of sanitation and added that some months back drain constructed in lane no. 2 is not worth as dirty water remains stagnant and emits foul smell, same is the case with the main drain also. As per press release, Dy. Mayor Jamwal gave patient hearing and assured them that their genuine demands would be taken up for early redressel. He said lane no. 2 will be coal-tarred soon beside other demands will also be looked into. Members of the deputation were Badrinath Bhat, Kakaji, Sahibji, RK Dutta, BL Nathoo, HK Koul, Ramesh Pandita, CL Trakroo, Chander M. Ganjoo, Madan Lal Langoo, HN Jatoo, PN Kilam etc etc.
