| IDPD appeal govt accede genuine demands of doctors | | | Early times Report Jammu, Oct 27: The Indian Doctors for peace and development (IDPD) has appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir government to the genuine demands of the doctors working in government hospitals who are on strike to enhance their salary at par with doctors working in other parts of the country. As per press release public health services in J&K state cater large population and this strike has crippled the healthcare infrastructure with the results that the patients and the society are suffering due to confrontational attitudes. The IDPD have also appealed to the union health minister Gulam Nabi Azad who was former chief minister of J&K to use his good office to come to an amicable solution. Meanwhile, Dr. Arun Mitra, general secretary IDPD has appealed to the doctors who are an peaceful strike to resume emergency and critical care services in public interest, the release added.
