| 2 promoted, 8 transferred in Prisons Deptt | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 27: Government has ordered promotion of Dr. Mohammad Sultan Lone, Senior Superintended Jails as incharge DIG Prisons in his own pay and grade and Mr. Bahadur Singh, Assistant Superintendent Jail as Deputy Superintendent of Jail.
In a separate order transfers and postings of eight police officers of prisons department have been ordered.
Javid Masood Fazili, Superintendent District Jail Udhampur has been transferred to Staff Officer to DGP prisons.
Dinesh Sharma, Superintendent Sub Jail Kishtwar has been transferred to District Jail Kathua,
Vinod Kumar Superintendent District Jail Kathua has been transferred to District Jail Jammu.
Rajni Sehgal, Superintendent District Jail Jammu has been transferred to District Jail Udhampur.
Harish Kotwal, Dy. Superintendent Sub Jail Hiranagar has been transferred to District Jail Rajouri.
Mohammad Ashraf Beigh, Dy. Superintendent District Jail Rajouri has been transferred to District Jail Kupwara.
Pritam Singh, Dy. Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar has been transferred to Sub Jail Hiranagar.
Bahadur Singh, Dy. Superintendent District Jail Rajouri has been transferred to Sub Jail Kishtwar.
