| LJSP for tourism promotion in Jammu | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 29: No attention is being paid to develop places of tourist interest in the Jammu region, said Sanjeev Manmotra, state working president of Lok Janshakti Party (LJSP) at the workers meeting held here today. He said both state and central governments never tried to develop tourist spot in the region and added that Jammu region too has good potential as various spots in Bhadarwah are in no way less attractive than Phalgam and Gulmarg. Bhadarwah if attended can be a mini Switzerland beside there are so many places like Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar etc, which can even prove more tourists attractive then so many places of Kashmir. Jammu province does not lack in the presentation of lovely spots but only one thing required is that they are to be given proper chance to develop and be made approachable. Jammu province can prove a most valuable source for the employment to the people if the government pays attention to the development of the tourists spot of this place which have otherwise been neglected.
