Jammu, Oct 29: The Jay Kay women welfare society executing the project programme of “improving quality of elementary education” in Gandoh block of district Doda organized a two day workshop to strengthen the 17 villages on 27th and 28th October. Nearly 55 participants attended the workshop during these days.
MLA, Bhaderwah MS Naiz inaugurated the workshop introductory brief by TR Sharma executive director and ZEO Gandoh also attended the workshop. Speakers laid stress on the importance of the role of VEC’s in bringing about a change in the system of education and in the formation of education plans of the areas concerned of the VEC’s.
Resources persons of SSA Doda with vast experience of education improvement were arranged for imparting the training to the VEC’s participant in the workshop.
The workshop was concluded with a vote of thanks by project coordinator Pawan Sharma
