| Nago, brothers’ bail adjourned | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 29: Justice Sunil Hali of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing both the sides adjourned the case of bail application filed by Choudhary Nagar Singh and his two brothers against whom process of section 87 CrPC has been initiated by the CJM Jammu on the request of SIT.
Sr. Adv MA Goni appearing for the applicants raised a very sensitive law point and said that a Senior Advocate can sign any document as such the Sr. Advocate cannot be appointed as Special PP. Upon this the Court adjourned the bail applications today and second for further arguments on the point raised by the counsel for the applicants and fixed the November 3, 2009.
Meanwhile, Jatinder Singh Choudhary son of Choudhary Nagar Singh allegedly main accused in the much publicized murder of Amandeep Singh has filed bail application in the FIR 247/2009 registered in the Police Station Gandhi Nagar. Principal Sessions Judge Jammu BL Bhat after hearing Advocates ,MA Bhat, Ajay Singh Kotwal and AH Bhat appearing for the applicant has issued notice to Police Station Gandhi Nagar Jammu for filling report on November 4,2009.
The bail application was filed under the provisions 167 (2) of Criminal Procedure Code as the investigating agency has technically produced the charge-sheet against the applicant on October 24,2009, that the same is incomplete in all respects and has been only produced in order to defeat the right of the applicant to be grant bail and prayed for grant of bail. |
