| One-way traffic on NH today | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 29: Only one-way traffic would be allowed on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway for two days to facilitate smooth movement of government officials and employees shifting their base to winter capital Jammu, state authorities said today.
"In view of annual Darbar move from Srinagar to Jammu, the traffic will ply one-way on the 300-km national highway connecting Kashmir with rest of the country on October 31 and November 1," a spokesman of the traffic department said here.
The civil secretariat, the seat of Jammu and Kashmir government, and other offices will close in Srinagar on October 30-31 and reopen in Jammu on November 9, as part of the bi-annual Darbar move.
