| BJYM out to support Safai Karamcharis agitation | | |

Kathua , Oct 30: Agitation launched by the Safai Karamchari Union for the last one week is going to spreading in entire Kathua. Every corner of the city has become den of garbage and unwanted biomaterial due to which the smell and polluted air carrying toxic bacteria and virus are floating in the air and causing serious threat of fatal disease.
“The demands of Safai Karamchari Union for regulization of Daily wages / contractual is genuine so until and unless the demands are not addressed by the government, the agitation will be continue” said President, Safai Karamchari Union Sawan Cheata.
He said that local body assured earlier to solve the problem till 26th of October but failed to do so and agitation was further extended by 6 days and officers at the helm of affairs again failed to address. Union warned the local body to be serious and take immediately steps to regularize all the Safai Karamchari Daily wages / contractual who are working for the last more than 7 years. In support of workers BJYM held a demonstration lead by Naveen Sudden against the local body for not taking serious steps to solve the demands of Safai Karamchari Union. Naveen Sudden of BJYM said that Safai Karamchari are responsible community of the society so their demands are quit genuine and government should actively come forward to intervene and sort out the problem.
