| Various gas agencies challened under LPG Act | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, OCTOBER 30 Continuing the drive, the officers of Enforcement Wing of CA&PD, Jammu under the guidance of Director CA&PD conducted inspection to M/S Ritu Gas Agencies of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation at Bari Brahamana and booked/ challaned under the violation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Act 2000. During the inspection, it was found that LPG domestic cylinders were short with the stockiest i.e. 42 filled and 22 empty as per the ground balance.
One more LPG extension counter of M/S Maa Vaishno Devi Gas Agency at Channi Himmat found operating at Bari Brahmana Jammu was checked and challaned for the violation of the Act.
The team also checked garment shops at Gandhi Nagar and detected various violation under the provision of Consumer Protection Act 1987.
