| Kawa Instt. Organizes workshop on climate change | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 31: The Kawa institute of management and technology in the field of information technology and computer education organized a workshop on climate change and impacts of global warming on environment at Manda here today. The workshop was attended by the students of the institute and its faculties. Anjana Bavouria, (centre head) Romesh Koul (faculty), Anil Katoch and Harpal Singh (students) delivered lectures on the subject. Speaking on the occasion spokes they expressed that due to deforestation, environment has suffered a lot which has put human life on the earth in a big trouble. They emphasized on the people to realize the gravity of the situation and plant maximum plants and trees all around to save the environment so as to prevent climatic changes. Director Kawa groups of education Mohinder Singh while addressing the workshop explained in detail the importance of environment in the sustenance of life existing on the earth, impacts caused on it due to global warming, deforestation and pollution. He stressed upon the people in general and students community in particular to rise to the occasion and play their active role in saving the environment from further climatic changes so as to give coming generations a healthy environment to live on this planet.
