| Symposium on environment pollution held at RS Pura | | |

RS Pura, Oct 31: A symposium on environment pollution was organized at government degree college, RS Pura in collaboration with directorate of environment, ecology and remote sensing, principal of the college welcomed the gathering and spoke her views on environment pollution while RC Sharma, deputy conservative of remote sensing presided over the function.
Sharma spoke on environment pollution, global warming, ozone layer depletion, climate change and also emphasize how to control rising temperature and put focus the importance of plants in our life. Nazia Latifi organized the function while Prof. Uma Sharma from Patanjali Yog Samiti briefed the students regarding the medicinal value of the medicinal plants.
The winners were Mandeep Kour (1st), Shivani Choudhary (2nd) and Dheeraj Raina (3rd) respectively.
At the end of the function the mementos were given to the students and certificates were awarded to the participants.
