| Compensate J&K against pre-paid ban: BJP | | | Early Times Report Jammu Oct 31: State unit of BJP has asked for some package must be announced to compensate the families linked with the prepaid mobile service because they invested a lot for their business and sudden shutdown will affect their livelihood. BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora appealed the public that the situation in our state is not normal and abnormal situation is to be dealt by stringent methods and reiterated government to formulate laws also like POTA to deal with militant and militancy related activities. Arora however said that decision to ban may be a compulsion depending upon the input received from intelligence service. He appealed State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah not to make statements like withdrawal of forces and abolishing Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) because the time is not ripe to do the same rather it encourage the separatist forces and their leaders. BJP State Spokesperson also took a serious note of the reply of PM over a question put to him, about supporting gun culture by Moulvi Umar Farooq in London conference as Prime Minister has briefly replied that such statements should not be taken by words. He appealed the centre government as well as state government not to play, petty politics for strengthening their parties and vote bank, rather interest of the nation is of paramount consideration and many have laid down their lives the defend it.
