| Khajuria greets new CCI team , extends support | | | Early times Report Jammu, Nov 1: President All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association and general secretary Jammu Paryatan Vikas Mandal, Inderjeet Khajuria who contested election for the post of Sr. vice president Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu, thanked the members of CCI who voted for him as well as those who did not vote for him. He has congratulated the new team of office bearers of CCI and has extended them his as well as of the trade bodies headed by him full cooperation in serving the trade and industry in Jammu and promoting their interests. He said that though he could not be elected as office bearer of the CCI and he accepts the verdict of the voters, he would continue to serve the business community and the industrialists to his best, in full cooperation with the elected office bearers. He expressed the hope that the new team of office bearer of the CCI will be highlighting the problems being faced by the tourism and pilgrimage related trades in Jammu and will strongly take up with the government to help solve their problems. He said that on his part he would keep on forcefully raising the issues concerning tourism and pilgrimage as well as business and industry in general and demanded that tourism, which has been declared as industry should get all the benefits, incentives and concessions which are available to the manufacturing industry in the state. All the packages of relief and rehabilitation provided to the tourism industry in Kashmir during last one and a half decades should be extended to Jammu based tourism related trades, he said.
