| Shabir asks officers to coordinate for developmental works | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Nov 02: Saying that it was the endeavor of government to provide basic infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the state, particularly far off and inaccessible areas, the Minister of State for Power, Forest and CAPD, Mr Shabir Ahmed Khan today sought people cooperation in effective execution of development works. Addressing series of public meetings at Ghulti and Ghambir Mughla areas of Rajouri, the Minister emphasized on supervision of under execution development works in their respective areas by the inhabitants to ensure that quality work is done within stipulated time frame. For upgradation of power infrastructure, the Minister announced Rs.10 lakh for Ghulti. He said under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vikas Yojna (RGGVY) Rs.35 lakh project has been sanctioned for Ghambir Mughla. He said that the Rs.7 lakh provided earlier under power infrastructure has already been completed. He assured to provide adequate ration to the people of these far off areas so that people do not face any inconvenience due to shortage of basic amenities. He said Ghambir-Hatta Seri road will also be completed soon. Stressing on preserving forest wealth, Mr Khan said that more trees should be planted to protect green cover from further degradation. He said that the green cover is wealth for secure tomorrow. Asking the concerned officers present on the occasion to put in extra coordinated efforts to ensure development works are completed before time and to the satisfaction of the public. He asks them to interact with people and redress their grievances at the earlier.
