| Bhai Kanahiya NS society celebrate Prakash Utsav | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 2: The Prakash Utsav on the occasion of 540th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was celebrated with full religious fervour and gaiety by the sikh community in the entire state of Jammu Kashmir. Since early morning devotees visited the various gurudwaras and took part in Kirtan and Shabad etc.
During the celebration sikh scholars threw light on the preaching of Guru Nanak Dev. Bhai Kanahiya Jee Niskam Seva Society also organized a function on the occasion and urged upon the devotees to adopt the path shown by Guru Maharaj which will help the people to live in a peaceful atmosphere. Chief organizer of society S. Mohinder Singh said both state and centre govt. is doing nothing for the welfare Sikh community.
Various Hindus and Muslim organizations congratulated the Sikhs on the occasion of Prakash Utsav.
