| To bring Kashmir out of territorial, constitutional organization of India will be resisted: PK | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 2: Panun Kashmir (PK) views with serious concern over the political developments relating to the Kashmir imbroglio said, Ashwani Chrungoo at a press conference here today. He said statements emanating from various quarters in this regard during the visit of the prime minister to Kashmir is cause of concern. Justification of violence and presence of gun in Kashmir to take the so-called freedom movement to a logical conclusion, by the separatist forces, is an eye opener for all added it is due to this violence and presence of gun that the whole community of Kashmiri pandits stands ethnically cleansed from the valley of Kashmir. The members of the community became victims of genocidal action and were forced to leave Kashmir and live as refugees in their own country. Such statements are absolutely deplorable, he said added they have also potential to blackmail those who desire to bring peace to the strife torn valley of Kashmir which has witnessed massacres of minorities and loot and plunder of their shrines. Chrungoo said the propounded road of quite diplomacy cannot be taken lying down by the nationalist forces of the state. At a time when a number of forces both within and outside the country have got active in the scenario, it is imperative that everything is done before the public glare and knowledge, as nationalist forces of the state have become victims of this backdoor politics on Kashmir a number of times in the past. He said all stakeholders have a right to know as to what India intends to do through this doctrine of silent diplomacy. The nation needs to be reminded of the unanimous resolve of 1994 of India parliament on Kashmir. Any attempt that brings Kashmir out of the territorial and constitutional organization of India will be resisted with all might, as the indigenous people of Kashmir, the Kashmir Pandits have full faith in and adherence to the accession and treats it as full and final. Chrungoo said Panun Kashmir stakes its claim to be a part of any negotiation on Kashmir because of the fact Kashmiri Pandits are the first and natural claimants of the territory of Kashmir. The exodus of the Pandits has added a different dimension to the whole kashmir issue, and it is now, because of this complexity of the issue involved, that the pandits have their stakes recognized and registered. The people who have faced genocide, exodus and ethnic cleansing have the first stake to any negotiation on the Kashmir imbroglio, he said. Among others present in the press meet were ML Raina, chairman, political affairs committee, Virender Raina, national spokesperson and JL Kaul, vice president.
