Sr. Congress leaders demand enquiry in Div. Comms remarks.

The Senior Congress laders of the state have sought appropriate enquiry into the controversy over raising of patriotic slogans during Budha Amarnath pilgrimage.
According to press release in a joint statement several leaders have taken objection over same remarks of the Divisional Commissioner Jammu who have initiated unwanted controversy and several protests rallies at various places were held. The matter is of sensitive nature and likely to be exploited, so it is desired that state Govt. takes appropriate action in the matter at the earliest.
The signatures to the statement are Dharam Pal Sharma, S. Parduman Singh, Yash Pal Khajuria, Janak Raj Gupta, Ravinder Sharma, Amolak Singh, Shanti Viad, Rajiv Saraf, Ch. Shah Mohd, Ved Prakash, B.B Gupta, Nek Mohd. and others.
