| Citizens co-op banks staff training centre inaugurated | | | Early times Report Jammu, Nov 3: Chairman Citizens Cooperative Bank ltd Dinesh Gupta inaugurated the staff training centre of the bank in the premises of Shastri Nagar branch here today. Gupta on the occasion highlighted the importance of training to employees in order to update their knowledge and skill in the present era of competition. Managing Director Ashok Goswamy also highlighted the importance of the training programme which will surely helpful to staff of the bank to initiate treasury operations to further increase the profitability of the bank. He further appreciated the role of Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, chief manager (Adm) in setting training centre and organizing the training programme and requested the chairman to honour him by presenting bukke. A training session on investment in government securities had been organized for the officers of Cooperative Banks wherein KK Mittal, regional head of STCI primary dealers limited, Delhi made a presentation highlighting the scope of investment in money and treasury market operations. He explained the avenues available in Money Market and safeguards to be adopted while dealing in investment market. The training session was attended by officers of the citizens cooperative bank ltd, Jammu, and Devika Urban Cooperative Bank ltd, Udhampur. The officers namely KK Gupta chief manager (Adm), Ashwani Kapoor chief manager (inspection), Rajeev Dogra chief manager, central officer, Anita Basur manager III, Chanderkala manager III, Sanjeev Kumar Manager I, Som Singh Manager I and Rajesh Gupta Manager I, Som Singh manager I and Rajesh Gupta Manager I had attended the training session. Ch. Narinder Singh vice chairman, Kuldip Raj Gupta, Deepak Gupta, directors of the bank were also present on the occasion.
