| Any development of ‘Sadhu Ganga Asthapan’ be executed under committee: SGAC | | |

Jammu, Nov 3:The Sadhu Ganga Asthapan committee (SGAC) of Kandi Khas in district Kupwara in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sham Lal Raina its chairman called to take stock of the fall-outs and implications meted-out with regard to state governments intentions of handing over the Asthapan to the department tourism.
Briefing the committee members about the state governments intentions Chaman Lal Raina, president of the committee said that a memorandum was submitted to the relief commissioner (migrants) wherein it is appealed to the state government that any construction work with regard to development of the Asthapan should be held under the supervision of the Sadhu Ganga Asthapan Committee only and any decision by the government without agreement with the committee shall not be tolerated.
The committee said that the government should have a written agreement with the SAGC before taking any decision with regard to any construction or development work.
The members also appealed the government to intervene in the illegal selling of the land belonging to Asthapan.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sanjay Raina, Bushan Lal Raina, Bharat Bhushan Raina, Omesh Raina, Anil Raina, Tej Krishan Raina, Shuban Lal Raina and Rames Raina.
