| Abdi Kunj pays tribute Guru Nanak Ji, Baba Jitto | | |

Jammu, Nov 3: Glowing tributes were paid to Guru Nanak Dev Ji on his 540th birth anniversary at a literary cum poetic meet organized by Abdi Kunj at a function presided over by Zeenat Firdous, a well known Urdu and Pahari writer of the state. On the occasion tributes were also paid to 15th century revolutionary kissan Baba Jitto. Speakers on the occasion threw-light on the invaluable services rendered by them for the mankind.
Sham Talib paid tributes to number of literary stalwarts who had rendered great services to the literature, which include SL Pardasi and Mahinder Raina. Members also prayed for speedy recovery of SK Jain, Chuni Lal and Desh Bandhu Dogra Nutan etc. Among others present were Rajeshwari Bhakri, Sham Talib, Daya Ram Daya, MS Kamra, Muni Lal, KL Dubey Deewana, Maharaj Krishen, Jaswant Singh and Ved Prakash Gupta. The meet concluded with vote of thanks presented by Com. Jaswant.
