| KP’s annoyed with center on Kashmir policy | | | Early Times Report Jammu , Nov 3 Working committee meeting of Delhi ASKPC on Nov 3, 2009 reviewed the organizational matters and also took stock of present scenario of J&K State and the Country. While reiterating the demand of reviewing the Kashmir policy towards Pakistan as well as to Hurriyat and other separatist groups of J&K State, Kundan Kashmiri stated that India has no concrete and transparent policy on Kashmir, but a policy of appeasement towards Kashmiri separatists and fundamentalists who wants to associate with Pakistan but to drain India financially for their development and prosperity. He told to state and Center Govts. to define the place and role of Kashmiri Pandits who are first party to Kashmir issue and also first victim of the genocide, ethnic cleansing and persecution at the hands of the terrorists and separatists in Kashmir valley. Commenting over the Prime Minister’s package to rehabilitate the displaced KP’s, Kundan Kashmiri stated the rehabilitation is wider term which comprises of moral, social, ethical and large economic element and to extend some doles as a substance allowances is not all end to what KP Community has lost. He said, can they restore the beach of trust, shaken faith and the by gone days of peace and tranquility which was spiritual food to our starving minds. Kundan Kashmiri stated that state and center Govt. should not draw political mileage out of the tragedy and should give serious thought over this problem. The real rehabilitation and return will mean to carve out “Kashyap Home Land” within Kashmir where true Indians could live in perfect peace and harmony. Kundan Kashmiri and others resolved that KP Community totally abhors the concept of self rule, greater autonomy or separation from India and said that the State of J&K has been is and shall be an integral part of India and attempt to separate or weaken it from rest of India will be resisted with full might. This meeting appealed the Govt. of India to demonstrate its complete will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity and demanded that Pakistan must vacate the areas of Indian State of J&K which they have occupied through aggression.
