| PSU protests, seek regular DMU service | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Nov 3: Panthers Student Union (PSU) under Chairmanship of Ajaz Sumbria District President Udhampur hold a demonstration at Jammu , Udhampur Railway Station for want of regularizing of DMU & Inter city trains up to Udhampur Railway Station.
About 1.30 PM hundred of students led by Sumbria marched towards Mian –Da- Bag Railway track for stopping trains running between Udhampur New Delhi as soon as the students reached at track the train crossed Mian-Da- Bag area but even they blocked the track for about one hour.
Later they marched towards Railway Station and ghereao the Railway Station Udhampur for more than two hours. Neeraj Sahai Senior DOM Frozpur assured protesting students on telephone that the DMU will be regularized very soon on the assurance of DOM the agitated students dispersed with further warning to railways authorities that if the DMU will not be continued immediately the students will come on the roads & the Railways department will be responsible for further loss. Sumbria told that from tomorrow signature campaign will be lunched from 1.00 PM at Gole Market Dabbar, Udhampur & it will be continued till the DMU is regularized.
