| KC public school organizes workshop for CBSE principals, teachers | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 4: The KC Public School organized workshop on continuous comprehensive evaluation for the principals and teachers of CBSE schools functioning in J&K. In the workshop 50 principals and teaches from CBSE schools of J&K attended the workshop Seema Jerath, principal DLF public school and Rita Singh, principal Indra Puram Public school, Delhi were the resource persons while Kuldeep Razdan, CBSE Nodal officer, conducted the workshop on behalf of CBSE Delhi. The workshop was about the recently introduced examination reforms and continuous comprehensive evaluation by CBSE to prepare futuristic citizens for a meaningful and productive life in a global society as there was dire need to strengthen the look at the holistic assessment of a learner which includes scholastic area of life skills, attitudes and values, sports and games as well as co-curricular activities and at the same time reducing emphasis on external examination and encouraging internal assessment through school based continues comprehensive evaluation. The workshop was found to be quite useful for the principals and teachers trained at KC public school who will further train other teachers of the state to make the scheme successful. Principal of the school Jorawar thanked the delegates for attending the workshop and making it a great success.
