| 5die, 40 injured in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report Jammu Nov 4: Three persons including a baby died and 40 others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu. One Bus bearing registration number JK02D/5071 on way from Billawar to Basohli on reaching Gandheer Bowly falling under the jurisdiction of police station Billawer turned turtle on road, resulting in on spot death of Nirmal Kumar son of Sarno resident of Dhar Dugnoo and injuries to 20 persons. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. One Tanker on way from Jammu to Srinagar hit one baby daughter of Vijay Kumar resident of Mand, at Mand Bally Nallah, resulting in on spot death of baby. Tanker driver fled away from the spot. One tipper coming from Poonch to Jammu on reaching Kalidhar Galla rolled down, resulting in on spot death of Shoqat Hussain son of Noor Hussain resident of Kankote and injuries to another person. Injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. An accident took place at Beacon Galla, Mand Udhampur between Tempo traveler bearing registration number JK02AK/9463 on way from Jammu to Srinagar and CRPF vehicle bearing registration HR37P/1690 coming from Doda to Jammu, resulting in injuries to nine persons. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, one Janak Raj son of Tillo Ram resident of Nanke Chack, Samba presently as senior supervisor NPHC complex Shalamar Kishtwar was found dead in suspicious circumstances in his official quarter at Shalamar Kishtwar. Inquest proceedings have been initiated in this regard. Body of Khan Husain son of Mohammad Ayoub was found hanging with a tree at Morh Badikhad Mangyal Forest area, falling under the jurisdiction of police post Taryath Rajouri. Body handed over to legal heirs. Inquest proceedings have been initiated in this regard.
